Powerpoint

For my first CCR, I decided to do a powerpoint. I decided to make a powerpoint for this because this was the question that I did not understand that well. I hard trouble relating my genre to social issues and problems and I also didn't understand conventions that well. I though powerpoints were not that hard so i could use it on this question to make things easier for myself

For my second and third CCRs I decided to make videos of me talking about them. I decided to make videos because I prefer to explain things by talking, so it was easier for me to explain how I completed this project by talking, rather than writing it down or making a slide show. I took about two to three minutes on each CCR so i could thoroughly explain how I did things and what my though process was throughout the project.
Today I went back to clean up my magazine one last time before being completely done with it. I rearranged a few things on each page to try and make it look like things corresponded with each other a lot better. I also added basic things like bolded important words or phrases, and also added page numbers on each page.

Throughout this whole process of making this magazine cover, I have been using a website called Canva. I have also been using to make the Table of Contents and Article as well. It is a very useful website that makes pages with pictures on them, and text and shapes can be added on to it. This project would have been a lot more difficult if I wasn't able to use this website, because there were a lot of cool features that helped me build my magazine.
Today I made the final article for the magazine. It was about the best summer fashion stores, and I interviewed my friend Antonia to help me out with it. Just like planned, I mostly wrote about the information Antonia gave me so it makes sense for people who have summers with and without beaches. I added a picture of a store on a beach so people can see a visual of what that might look like. It was a very basic article, but it should be useful for people who really do not know where to shop for summer clothes.
Today I had my interview with Antonia. I met her at her house and we hung out for a little bit before i started the interview. When I finally did start the interview, she gave me a lot of background about how summer style is different in New Jersey than Florida. In New Jersey, they usually only where summer type of clothes if they go swimming in lakes, but other than that it is more normal clothes. That was a surprise for me to hear, especially because in Florida people wear bathing suits all the time, even if they aren't going swimming. She also answered all my questions throughout the interview, and here are the results.

- Do you prefer summer in Florida, or in New Jersey?
Answer: Florida because there is always a beach to go to
- Where do you usually go to get your clothes during the summer?
Answer: To keep up with what is trending, I usually go to stores on the beach to always keep up with the common fashion.
-Where did you usually go to get your clothes when you lived in New Jersey?
Answer: I usually went to the store near my house just to get a sometime of bikini, but most people always wore bikinis and boys would wear solid color trunks.
-Are you usually always caught up in the trending style over the summer?
Answer: I try to always stay caught up in fashion because I like to try and fit in, but sometimes during the winter I wear what is most comfortable to me.
Today I planned my interview with my friend. Here is some background information on her and why I chose her. It is hard to do a summer magazine when I've only lived in Florida so I do not know what summer is like where there are not any beaches. However, the girl I am interviewing (Antonia), moved here from New Jersey 4 years ago. I thought that she could give me insight on summer where there are beaches, and where they are not any. Also, Antonia is usually very caught up in whatever type of fashion is trending so that could help.

Some of the questions I plan on asking her during our interview:
- Do you prefer summer in Florida, or in New Jersey?
- Where do you usually go to get your clothes during the summer?
-Why?
-Where did you usually go to get your clothes when you lived in New Jersey?
-Why?
-Are you usually always caught up in the trending style over the summer?
Today I went to the beach to take a picture for my article. I had to reschedule my interview because my friend who I am interviewing had to cancel. I drove to my local beach "Siesta Key Beach", to try and take pictures of some stores. There are actually a lot of places to get clothes near the beach, but I decided to pick probably the most popular store "Beach Bizaar". I took the picture with my own phone and also put a filter on it after. The angle was a medium shot, which showed the front of the store but also the walkway in front to get a good view of it if someone was walking by.
